Welcome to Linux Laptops

Hi! Welcome to my blog about Linux Laptops. This blog has been created as a place to post and discuss the results of a project currently underway at Whitfield School in St. Louis, MO. In a nutshell, our project provides ThinkPad laptops to students with Novell Linux Desktop. These students have access to a complete Windows OS and suite of MS compatible programs via Citrix. A major study, being funded by Intel, Lenovo and IBM is being done to evaulate the education and financial benefits and risks.
